From my homemade fries, to my homemade pizza sauce, these super cheesy Pepperoni Pizza Fries are top-to-bottom the perfect cure for the wintertime blues! FIVE CHEESES go onto these italian herbed fries! So make a batch, put on a movie or binge watch your favorite show, and share these total pig-out-on-the-couch-potato fries with your best friend and just enjoy! Don’t forget the forks, you’ll need them!
My hubby and I are sadly going through a lot of horrific things right now. And I thought that we needed, and deserved, a total pig-out munchie to pick up our spirits! And these fries were part one of my home remedy for turning sad faces into smiles!
If only just for a moment.
We all go through bad times, and sometimes, silly things like a pile of gooey, cheesy fries, can really make your day a little bit brighter!
I set out to just make it a fun, stress-free day. A day without worry. A day without tears. And we really had a most wonderful, and much needed, silly-fun day!
Sometimes, the simplest of things, turn out to be the best things!
So, to me, everything good starts out with a solid foundation. And what better base to build the perfect mess of ooey gooey cheesy pizza fries, than on a piled haystack of my homemade Copycat 5 Guys Fries, right?!! Yes, indeedy, BOB!
I gave them a little sprinkling of garlic powder, salt, italian seasoning, pepper, and a light dusting of dried basil…
…then topped them with my last stash of my homemade Spicy Robusto Pizza Sauce! *You could also make my Easy Quick Pizza Sauce if you’d like, too, if that one works better for you!
I then topped the crispy fries ladled with homemade pizza sauce with piles of mozzarella, provolone, sharp white cheddar, asiago, and parmesan cheese! What a killer blend of cheeses!!!
I added more of the seasonings on top of the cheeses, then heavily garnished the whole pile with cut-up thin slices of spicy pepperoni!
But here’s where it gets even better!
Like you thought that THAT was even possible….another light layer of cheese and pepperoni!!
That extra layer just makes it look more professional, ya know? Layers take “okay” to “fantastic!”
Then pop the whole killer mess into your preheated oven, and bake until the cheeses are a sea of melty goodness, and the pepperoni gets a light crisp!
I was really surprised at how much the ENTIRE HOUSE smelled like I was baking a pizza!!! OMG…..!!!
It smelled SO. INCREDIBLY. DELICIOUS.
I knew that this was going to be just what we needed!!
And that it was!!!
And since the weather hasn’t been too bad lately, I actually had new parsley growing fairly well out on the deck that I was thrilled over to place on top to make it pretty! Funny how just a sprig of parsley can make something look so special!
Yeah. The simple things. Ya know?
These silly-easy, total pig-out fries were a SMASH HIT as simple as they were! They tased just like pizza, only without the shocker-price of delivery, and were one of the funnest things I’ve made in a long while!
Something that was MUCH NEEDED in this house!!
Just serve these with forks stuck right in there, extra sauce on the side for dipping, and lots of napkins!
So, if you’re going through tough times, or just want to make something fun for once, I highly recommend that you make a batch of these 5-Cheese Pepperoni Pizza Fries!
An awesomely delicious and fun pick-me-up, or a super fun munchie for a party or movie night! You just can’t go wrong with a pile of homemade fries topped with melty cheeses and spicy pepperoni! Hope you all enjoy!
