*This contest has ended. I hope that those who entered will stay awhile! 🙂
And to announce the winner!!!
Congratulations to Becky Nichols! I’m sure she will have many fun-filled afternoons in the kitchen and enjoy cooking from this cookbook!
Wow. I can’t believe it’s been a whole year already! Plus 100,000+ views on my blog, and over 10,000+ people following my page on Facebook – – three major milestones all came together at once! 😀 I’m shocked and amazed and I sincerely thank each and every one of you from the bottom of my heart!!
I think that all of this calls for a celebration, don’t you? 😀 So I’ve decided that I’m going to have my very first Giveaway! This will be open to ALL, (and not limited to the U.S.), who have completed just three simple things to qualify!
The 3 Simple Rules:
1. You must Like my Facebook page.
2. You must subscribe to my blog.
3. You must post a comment to this blog page and tell me why you’d like to win this book, or simply just say hello! 😀
*This Giveaway will be running from Thursday, May 1st 8am EST, through Thursday, May 8th noon EST. Contest winner will be announced on Friday, May 9th, at noon EST and will be chosen by random drawing.
**Also note that email addresses for blog subscribing are for my eyes only, are kept PRIVATE, and NOT shared to any other parties whatsoever.
I think that about covers it and should be pretty easy! 😀
Since I’m not a big-time-pro-blogger and don’t receive extravagant gifts like Kitchen Aid mixers or $250.00 gift cards from high-end companies, this is something straight from me that I purchased myself that I just thought a lot of people would really enjoy, especially this time of year! *Taste of Home magazine has nothing to do with this Giveaway, this is just from me, personally. 😉
So, for my First “Blogiversary”, I’ve chosen to give away a brand new hardcover copy of….
~ * ~ Taste of Home’s “Healthy Cooking 2014 Annual Recipes” cookbook! ~ * ~
This fantastic, 272 page, hardcover cookbook has over 400 recipes including 60 lightened-up desserts, and even 50 never-before-published recipes!
*Taste of Home has taken the time to provide nutritional facts, diabetic exchanges, and uses icons to point out low-sodium, low-carb, low-fat and even meatless dishes to help you find what you’re looking for even easier!
Would you like to take a peek inside? Here’s a sneak peek at just a few of the categories that randomly caught my eye! There are 17 categories total! And by the way, this book is beautifully illustrated and every recipe has a photo! 😉
I even went so far as to make and test an easy recipe myself for you just for fun yesterday afternoon on a whim, that I literally closed my eyes and opened the book to! (*Not kidding!) I had everything on hand, as there were no difficult nor odd ingredients, and it was truly delicious!! The recipe for this outstanding, low-fat and diabetic friendly, “Ranch Chicken Salad Sandwich”, can be found on page 47! Here it is below! :
And here are 5 Top Recipes of my own that were among the Most Popular this year from my Blog! 😀
Grilled Stuffed Pineapple with Sausage, Peppers, Red Onion, & Sweet ‘n Sour Poppy Seed Sauce
Restaurant-Style Prime Rib
Summertime Beer-Battered Fried Zucchini with Honey-Mustard Ranch Dipping Sauce
Walkin’ Wings!™
Best Old-Fashioned Nooks ‘n Crannies Apple Cake with Pecans & 5-Minute Homemade Caramel Sauce
.
So gosh….I guess this concludes my first year!! Wowzers. 227 recipes in one year!! I have worked VERY hard! And what an amazingly fun journey it’s been! I’ll be sprucing up my blog for you soon, and my first change and goal will be to provide a more updated and better way to print out my recipes! I promise! And I always keep my promises!! 😉 😀
Thanks all so very much for being here with me, helping me and supporting me, and making my first year a success! But most importantly, I hope that I have helped even just one person. That’s what it’s all about. 😉 I hope to do even better this next year! 😀 Love to all! 😀 ~Kelly
