Walkin’ Wings!®

Sharing is caring!

I LOVE wings! A total wing junkie here! But, let’s face it, they’re messy. Not a little messy, they’re hands, face, clothes, in your hair kind of messy!! I don’t even like to order them in a local bar or pub sitting at a back booth in dim lighting,  because even that is too public to enjoy for me! So I challenge myself to come up with unique ways to enjoy them that doesn’t require a whole roll of paper towels and a shower afterwards!

This is my very own, latest creation, you heard it here first!!!, “WALKIN’ WINGS®”!!! Just like “Walkin’ Tacos”, but even better! All of the kick, all of the goodies (plus a li’l more), and NONE of the mess!! Not that I mind getting my hands dirty, I don’t mind that at all….so long as I’m home, though.

But if I’m out, even at a backyard picnic, I’d rather not wear half of my meal and have to run through the sprinkler just to enjoy a few wings! Right?!

These are perfect for picnics, outdoor functions, parties, tailgating and barbecues, because you only need to rewarm the meat in a small pot on a grill, or keep the buffalo pulled chicken meat warm in an insulated carrier. Everything else is fine to pack in a regular cooler or picnic basket.

I’m including a list of other goodies that you can add, too! I made these with BBQ-flavored potato chips, but I think these would also be equally fantastic on a variety of other chip flavors as well, from Sour Cream and Onion to Spicy Hot Doritos! When I serve these at parties and functions, I just put out an assortment that goes well together for guests to choose from, and they have a blast! Just see what all your local grocery stores carry.

If only I were a food vender at a Sporting Venue, State Fair, carnival or outdoor festival! I could make a small fortune on these babies! It all gets piled into a bag of chips, you’re free to walk around and not stuck at a public picnic table sitting next to a kid that looks a little green after too many chili dogs and a ride on the Tilt-a-Whirl, and the only thing to throw away is the empty bag and a fork! “Walkin’ Wings®”!!  Hope they’re a hit at your next party!

Just a few of the ingredients!

*You can either serve this killer treat in the bag pulled open and cut all the way down and placed on a paper plate as above, or you can just open the top, fold it down, and fill it that way to hold and carry. I cut it open so you could see all of the fantastic goodies inside!

Hope you enjoy, and have a wonderful day! 🙂

*Update, as you have probably noticed, my recipe title, recipe/ingredient list is a registered trademark! Woot!!! Now, if a major stadium would just call me….
