Bailey’s Frozen Coffee & Godiva Liqueur

frozen coffee

I don’t know who wrote all the rules, but they “didn’t ask me” when they decided everything! Who says you can’t have a little kick in your coffee in the morning? Is it so terrible? I think not. 😉

I enjoy it for a royal treat now and then! Even in the fall and winter, I enjoy an iced coffee once in awhile, too. Because I like to live on the edge like that. Breaking all of the rules! 😉

Most rules are just silly anyways and stifle the imagination. I’d rather have salad for breakfast and pancakes for supper. And an ice cold beer sounds pretty darned good for lunch sometimes! 😉 Why not, right?

If you look at the Earth’s timeline, we’re only on this planet for a blink of an eye! So why not live each day to the fullest as we choose? I say go for it every single chance you get, because you never know when your last day will be.

I don’t want to have any regrets, I want to be on my deathbed saying, Wow! What a ride! 😀 So there you have it, iced coffee with liqueurs in it on a chilly Wednesday morning! Best way to get “hump day” started! 😉

If you’re absolutely stubborn and won’t budge on the rules, you can always sub the new Bailey’s liquid creamers that are nonalcoholic if you so choose. And chocolate syrup can most certainly be subbed for the Godiva as well. Equally delicious, just not as fun! 😉

This is also a wonderful party drink or special occasion drink for get togethers, showers, birthdays and dinner parties. And it’s fantastic for those of us who have a difficult time making it to midnight to ring in the new year, too!

The amount of caffeine can be adjusted by using all or part decaffeinated coffee if caffeine is a problem for you.

If you prefer an over-the-top treat, half of the ice can be subbed with coffee or chocolate-flavored ice cream! Equally as delicious and even more decadent!

So I hope this perks up your boring, middle of the week, hump day, and adds a little fun in to your morning! This is simple to make and the coffee chills quickly in the freezer while you gather up the rest of the ingredients, glasses and utensils needed. Just don’t add the coffee to the blender while it’s hot.

Hope you have a fantastic day, and be sure to enjoy life to the fullest! 🙂
