Sharing is caring!

Happy fall, y'all!! 😀 And welcome to a fun edition of "Freaky Friday" where a small group of us bloggers get together several times a year to make and review another blogger in the group's recipe! We are all assigned to another blogger in the group, secretly, and on reveal day, we all share what we've made and help promote each other's blogs! 😀

Anyone out there planning a Halloween party? Attending one? Designing a crazy fun or super scary costume? Halloween used to be one of my favorite holidays when I was a kid! I loved making my own costumes, and usually started brainstorming months in advance! Carving our own pumpkins and roasting the seeds was always such a fun evening, and of course, a serious competition!

So, for this event, especially being held in the month of October, I definitely had Halloween, pumpkin and sweet treats on the brain! And this sweet bread sounded perfect! It would be spooktacular for any Halloween party, not to mention football and tailgating parties, too! 😉 So keep reading to learn about who I had and what wonderful fall-time treat I decided to make!

Freaky Friday Fall

For this year's Fall Edition, I was assigned to a super cool blogger named Brandi, who is the brain child behind the blog, Aunt Bee's Recipes! She has tons of family-friendly recipes, as well as frugal recipes, that are super handy for busy families such as her own! Brandi has 2 adorable kids and is married to the love of her life. They have made their nest in Huntsville, Alabama, where Brandi pours over her massive collection of cookbooks and scours the internet to create recipes that fit her family's tastes and needs!

Though I very much enjoyed seeing quite a few savory recipes on her blog that I would love to try, such as her Crock Pot Brown Sugar and Balsamic Pork Roast, Creamy Italian Sausage & Provolone Baked Subs, and her White Cheddar Chicken, Broccoli & Rice Bake, my sweet tooth was calling me big time, and I happened to already have the ingredients to make her Glazed Double Chocolate Chip Pumpkin Bread!

And I could not have chosen a better recipe to make! 😀

My hubby said this was pure torture! Because the wonderful aroma filled the house, wafted clear next door, and wandered down the street! Don't you just love it when the entire house smells like autumn?! 😀

This bread is not only loaded with warm spices of fall, but there are two kinds of chips in there, along with a nice handful of chopped pecans! 😉

But it doesn't stop there! These gorgeous loaves also get topped with a nice glaze of confectioner's icing! Does life get any better?

Luckily, this bread makes two loaves, also! So I was able to share an entire loaf with our dear friends next door! I love sharing with them, and was so happy that Brandi's recipe made two!

I can't thank her enough for this moist, rich and delightfully sweet bread! It will be a go-to recipe every fall, and cut into slices, then into thirds making "fingers", this would be an excellent dessert for a Football Party, Halloween Party, or a beautiful and welcome addition to your holiday goodie tray!

You'll definitely want to print this out or save it to Pinterest to keep for later! Please do take the time to pop over to Brandi's blog, Aunt Bee's Recipes, to see all of her family-friendly recipes! She has quite a nice collection that you don't want to miss out on!

Thank you for having me, Michaela! I really had a wonderful time and look forward to doing this again!

Hope you all have enjoyed! 😀 Have a most wonderful day! 😀

(*I did take just a few minute liberties with this one, as I enjoy using a little dark brown sugar, cutting down on the oil by subbing a little applesauce, and upping the spices just a tiny bit. An asterisk (*) after ingredient indicates a change or addition.)
