Instructions
In small or medium-sized saucepan, place hotdogs and cover well with water, bring to a boil, boil 1 minute, cover, remove from heat, and set aside. In another small saucepan, while hotdogs are cooking and resting, warm beans. (Stir occasionally.)Heat oven to broil.Split open rolls and spread insides with garlic & herb butter. Run under broiler until just lightly toasted.Remove and top each with a cooked hotdog. (*You can also add a little barbecue sauce, ketchup, or mustard on insides of rolls if you'd like. Or you can drizzle the tops later.) Then, using a slotted spoon, place heaping spoonfuls of mostly drained baked beans over tops.Top with cheese pieces (one torn slice each), overlapping pieces to nicely cover. Run back under broiler to melt cheese. Watch carefully so nothing burns.Remove, top with bacon, onions, and anything else you would like! Enjoy!!
