Ingredients

1 Tbl. butter

1/2 small onion, finely chopped

2 cloves finely minced garlic

1 1/2 cups ketchup

1 cup apple juice (1 - 8 oz. bottle)

1/4 cup light beer

1/4 cup dark brown sugar

1 Tbl. worcestershire sauce

1 Tbl. apple cider vinegar

1 tsp. spicy brown mustard
-
1/2 tsp. garlic salt

1/4 tsp. coarse ground black pepper

1/4 tsp. cajun seasoning
Instructions
In a small to medium saucepan on stovetop or grill, add butter and onions and sauté until soft. Add garlic and sauté one more minute.Add rest of ingredients, stir to mix, and cook over medium-low heat until simmering, stirring frequently, for about 15 - 20 minutes (once it starts to simmer). Reduce temp to Low (or move to a cool side of the grill) towards the end as it gets thicker. *Time depends on how thick you like your sauce.Remove from heat, cool, then pour into blender and blend until smooth.Pour into a jar, lid, and store in the fridge until needed.
