These gorgeous Grilled Bacon Wrapped Beef Tenderloins with Garlic & Herb Blue Cheese Butter were my special gift and surprise for my hubby early this summer for Father’s Day! Needless to say, it made his day!
It was the one time that I got to grill out, using the last of our propane. But it couldn’t have been used for anything better! These steaks were the BOMB!!
Nicely and lightly charred on the outside, the bacon lightly crispy (not soft and greasy!), and the inside? OMG. Done to perfection!
I used Minerva Dairy’s Garlic & Herb Butter adding in a little blue cheese, and that was the crowning glory on top! Sprinkling more blue cheese on top to garnish and nibble on, was insanely delicious!
These steaks looked like something you’d expect (and hope!) to get at a classy restaurant…but didn’t cost an arm, a leg and a mortgage payment!
These are the next to last two beef tenderloin steaks that I had cut myself many, many months ago when our store practically GIVING it away! They had ordered too much, and the sale price was LESS than hamburger!!
I know!!! We had bought two packs, and each package had two tenderloins inside.
So I sliced them up, thickly!, and wrapped each one before placing them into ziplock freezer bags.
I can’t tell you how many wonderful dishes I have made out of these! I lost count!!
And I still have two left. I doubt whatever they will be made into, won’t quite compare to this, though! These were just plain kick butt AWESOME.
So celebrate Labor Day weekend by rewarding yourself for all of your hard work with a special dinner of these Grilled Bacon Wrapped Beef Tenderloins with Garlic & Herb Blue Cheese Butter!
It may be the last time to grill out, as winter seems to be coming fast! So make sure your grilling season ends with a BANG!!
I so hope that you enjoy these incredibly delicious steaks! And be sure to look for whole ones at your local grocery store. They should have lots to choose from on sale. And remember, you don’t have to have the butcher slice anything for you!
Just do as I did and purchase a whole beef tenderloin and slice them as thick as you personally would like yourself!
Hope you all enjoy, and have a wonderful holiday weekend!
